Maine Made Us focused and proud. Want to join us as we provide healthcare that works for the people of Maine? If you are looking to find a combination of a challenging grants position and a high quality of life, we just might be a perfect match.
As a Senior Grants Consultant you provide high-value consultation, project management and grant proposal development services to Northern Light Health (NLH) and its members in working to advance priority initiatives through external institutional funding. You are passionate about improving the lives of those we serve, as you advance efforts to improve access to care for community members who are underserved, strengthen our response to the opioid crisis, and ensure our clinical teams have the tools, education and support needed to provide care focused on the needs of each person.
You work with system leaders, teams, and external partners from concept development to identifying, cultivating, and soliciting grant funding from government, foundation, and other sources to support program, capital, and research initiatives. You also lead a dynamic portfolio of individual projects and provide mentorship, coaching and support with projects assigned to team members.
As a vital member of the Institutional Funding Team (IFT) you take a lead role in advancing system priorities through sponsored project development and management; and by qualifying best fit funding opportunities, developing compelling proposals and providing post award orientation and support to NLH clients. You work effectively in advance of deadlines and maintain a sense of humor and humility under pressure.
Northern Light Health is the most expansive integrated health care system in Maine. We provide care to people from Portland to Presque Isle and from Blue Hill to Greenville and are comprised of 10 member hospitals employing more than 12,000 people in Maine.
